12th November - Remembrance Sunday
A wreath laying ceremony and Remembrance service took take place on Sunday 12th
November at the Hethersett War Memorial and St Remigius Church. Remembrance Day
is the anniversary of when hostilities in the First World War ended at 11 a.m. in
1918. A very moving service was conducted by Duncan Pigg, as he told us something
of the men behind the names on our village memorial.

27th May 2006 - Parent Helpers:
We are in the very fortunate position of having our own building for our headquarters.
This does mean we need to keep the building fully maintained to guarantee the safety
and comfort of users and ensure the longevity of the building for future users. If you have any skills which you would be willing
to share with the group please contact any of the leaders. Many thanks for your co-operation.
27th May 2006 - Beavers 20th Anniversary:
We have been invited to the Norfolk and Suffolk Beaver Scouts 20th Birthday celebrations
at Pleasurewood Hills at a cost of £8.50 per child. Distinctive T-shirts and hats
have been sourced by Kitty which will ensure the Hethersett Beavers will stand out
from the crowd. Excellent weather is expected so be generous with the suncream!
We will be organising transport for the children at no extra cost. Please
contact Kitty for more information.
St. George's Day:
Thank you to all who took part in the St. George's Day service at Long Stratton.
